Nun in a Leper Colony

Issue: Vitiligo (white patches) in current life

During the PLR session, the client regressed to a past life in the 12th Century where she found that she was a Nun in a convent having been taken in at the age of 16 after she became an orphan. She spent all her time praying at the convent. She was dissatisfied as she wanted to serve the Lord in a more real way. So she ran away from the convent and moved to a leper colony, somewhere in the Middle East, where she began to take care of the lepers.

She was content with her role as a caregiver to the lepers and treated them as her own family. She was assigned the task of fetching water from an underground source and distributing it amongst the lepers. One day, while feeding water to one of the lepers, she had to hold him upright as he was too weak and frail to drink the water himself. Due to leprosy, his flesh had begun to rot and a stench was emanating from him. As the Nun was consumed by the stench, disgust took over her and she felt repulsed. Although she continued her work at the leper colony, she could not overcome her disgust that she felt towards the lepers in that life.

Learning: Service to the Lord should always be done with love and compassion. Service is all about acceptance and giving selflessly. This session helped the client become more compassionate towards the less fortunate in this life.
